Siddarth Mishra, the alleged husband of Lakshmi Pandit who surrendered the Miss India World title, was on Thursday debarred from participating in the Gladrags Manhunt contest. Mishra came under focus after his photographs were flashed in various publications for being allegedly married to Pandit, who had been conferred the crown at the Ponds Femina Miss India 2004 contest held on Saturday. ‘‘There were discrepancies in the information provided by Mishra,’’ Gladrags organisers said. The Gladrags contest , to be held on April 2, was open only to models who were single, the source said. —(PTI)
