
MUMBAI, JAN 27: The Rs 2500-crore Tayal group, promoters of Eskay K`n’IT (India), is planning an investment of Rs 375 crore in upgrading production facilities at its present unit in order to enter the branded products market with a host of new brands in the near future. The investment will be funded through internal accruals, FIIs and banks.
The Tayal group has grown in the last four decades to emerge as the world leader in knitwear fabrics. With exports to 94 countries, the group’s fabric is used by leading designer labels worldwide and its clientele include Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Pierre Cardin, Van Huesen, Winna Mate, Wilson Pulitzer, Benetton and Proline.
