Environment society to hold seminar

SAS NAGAR, Jan 6: The Environment Protection Society of SAS Nagar will organise a seminar, "Keep our Sources of Water Clean" on January 9, at Phase-III-B1 Government Senior Secondary School of the township. Director, Environment of Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, T. Venugopal will be the chief guest while Mohali SDM M P Arora will preside over the function. Ten students will bag prizes in painting and essay writing category for environment awareness after the seminar. Summeet Kaur, a ninth class student of Gian Jyoti Public School, has been adjudged for receiving the Environment Awareness Award.
