Rediff has announced the launch of its Trains Fare Search for Indian travellers. The new search service can easily find seat availability and fares for trains in India. Apart from that travellers can also check train PNR status, get detailed schedule of trains, including real-time arrival and departure status by using a simple search engine query. Additionally, Rediff Trains Fare Search will also display a comparative view of the lowest airfare for the chosen rail route within the same search query. For example if users search for a rail journey from Mumbai to Delhi, Rediff will answer users’ query on the train availability as well as the lowest air fare ticket available for the same date, helping them choose the most cost-effective option.
