PUNE, June 23: Congress city unit chief Mohan Joshi has called a meeting of senior party workers at Congress Bhavan on Tuesday to work out a solution over the ongoing cold war between the civic administration and the elected members.

Talking to The Indian Express on Sunday evening, Joshi apprehended that public works are likely to be hampered if the confrontation between the civic officials and elected members continues. He held the Municipal Commissioner Ramanath Jha squarely responsible for the present crisis charging him of autocratic functioning.

Joshi claimed that several party colleagues have communicated to him their grievances against Jha. He said he along with Mayor Vandana Chavan and senior members of the party had called on Sharad Pawar in Pune on Sunday morning.

“I have communicated to him the grievances of partymen against Jha’s functioning,” he said.
