CHENNAI, July 5: An Ayyanar sculpture, measuring a metre-high and 0.8 m wide was recovered from an Ayyanar temple at Alagramam village in Tndivanam taluk recently. The sculpture, which belings to the 7th century, depicts Ayyanar seated on a pedestal with a woman standing next to him.
