Ever since actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP politician Raghav Chadha exchanged rings in May, speculations about their wedding date and venue have been rife. Now, according to reports, they are all set to tie the knot in September.
The previous few months have been spent by the couple preparing for their wedding, which has included looking for a venue. Since yesterday, images of their purported wedding reception invitation have been circulating on social media.
According to reports, the couple will tie the knot in Rajasthan and the celebrations will take place on September 23 and 24.
The couple’s roka ceremony on May 13 at New Delhi’s Kapurthala House was a small gathering of relatives and friends, which left everyone in awe. We were utterly enamoured with their subtle, elegant looks during the ceremony.
Parineeti wore a sophisticated soft-pink tissue silk kurta combination with a Kashmiri thread work dupatta from the racks of renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, which was embellished with tone-on-tone embroidery and pearls. She also wore gorgeous flat-cut polki and jadau jewellery with a modern touch from Manish’s jewellery line, Raniwala 1881.
Raghav, on the other hand, looked sharp in a pure khadi silk ivory achkan that he paired with ivory slacks and a matching kurta from designer Pawan Sachdeva, who also happens to be his uncle.
The couple’s wedding bands were similarly stunning. Raghav has been sporting a traditional Cartier band, while Parineeti has been showing off a gorgeous cushion-shaped diamond solitaire.
The duo, also known as “RagNeeti,” were previously caught matching in blue attire at the Mumbai airport before a flight to Udaipur, a few weeks after their roka.
In a long blue coat, blue leggings, and a white top, Parineeti looked stunning. She accessorised the ensemble with dark sunglasses and white sneakers.
Raghav looked sharp in a black trouser suit and brown shoes with a light blue check shirt. Before entering the airport, the couple was seen waving to the photographers.
On a visit to Amritsar, a few weeks after their roka, the couple was dressed in matching white ensembles. Raghav wore a white kurta-pyjama and a grey blazer, while Parineeti wore an off-white salwar-kameez with a dupatta draped around her head.
