As Kim assured her mother that she “shouldn’t feel this way”, Kris said that this feeling still “weighs heavy on her heart a lot”. Further, she admitted to feeling “guilt” when her family was publicly criticised.
“Now sometimes I just feel guilty about the other side of the coin, that we’ve created this life, not only a big responsibility, but it also can be very negative,” Kris said. To this, Kim agreed that “it can be really negative”.
During the conversation with her daughter, Kris said that she feels like they are criticised for everything. “I think that this life that we live, as beautiful as it, we get blamed for everything. Everything is our fault,” she said.
Kim agreed by giving an example of her sister, Khloe, who has believed to be “responsible for” he ex-boyfriend Tristan Thomspon “cheating” on her. “I feel so bad for you guys that you have to bear that on certain days,” Kris added.
She also recalled how Kim was robbed in Paris in 2016, during which masked robbers held at her gunpoint and stole nearly $10m worth of her jewellery. “Thank god it happened to me because if it had happened to anyone else, they wouldn’t have been able to survive,” Kris recounted Kim saying.
“And it wouldn’t have happened the same way, but you handle every situation like that,” Kris told Kim.
