Chhavi Mittal celebrates her victory over breast cancer with a special tattoo

Chhavi Mittal, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year and emerged victorious against the deadly disease, regularly shares updates about her life post-cancer on social media. From her recovery journey to her day-to-day health and fitness regimes, the actor-producer’s feed is a candid peek into her daily routine. As such, she recently (virtually) took her followers to a tattoo salon where she got five more tattoos done, in addition to the existing four, including a really special one.
Honouring her breast cancer journey, Chhavi got a pink ribbon inked on her back. Talking about the same, she said, “This is a pink ribbon, which stands for breast cancer. I have got ‘warrior’ written on the ribbon because I am a warrior. I have also got the date of my surgery — April 25, 2022 — inked alongside.”
She continued, “The reason I got this tattoo done is that I think the whole journey of breast cancer is going to be a part of my life forever. And, I wanted to celebrate my victory.”
Chhavi said that our tattoos shouldn’t be random. “There should be a lot of thought given to tattoos because they are extremely personal. Only you can decide the importance of your tattoos. So, I have very carefully decided on all my tattoos because they define who I am.”
She got another tattoo inked on her ankle. “This tattoo will protect me from evil eyes. 999 is an angel number that signifies new beginnings in life. 333, on the other hand, means that you are on the right path,” she shared, adding that the new tattoos on her fingers depict her birth sign, love, health, and healing, and the phrase ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’.

Taking to Instagram, Chhavi wrote, “I have 6 tattoos and I got 5 more. Getting inked is a very personal choice and I feel that the tattoos should either define you or should tell a story. Nevertheless, you and only you should decide what you want to get tattooed on your body.”
