Dr Manjusha Agarwal, senior consultant, internal medicine, Gleneagles Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, said that a blood pressure reading of 133/90 mmHg falls in the high-normal to borderline high range.

“The top number (systolic, 133) is only slightly raised, but the bottom number (diastolic, 90) is considered high. Occasional mild increases can happen because of various factors such as stress, lack of sleep, or salty foods. However, if you are feeling dizzy for a whole week, it is important not to ignore it and consult a doctor,” Dr Agarwal stressed.
