These four Indian metropolises are among world’s best cities to try local food

Indulging in regional cuisine is a great way to experience the rich culture and traditions of the place you’re travelling to. But have you ever wondered which cities offer the best local food?
To answer this question, Taste Atlas, a popular food guide, unveiled its list of 100 best cities in the world to try local food by rummaging through its extensive database and combing findings from restaurant ratings on Google.
Rome in Italy bagged the first spot. “Its local food scene combines the authenticity of traditional trattorias with a growing number of contemporary and inventive eateries. Roman cuisine is known for its hearty, flavourful dishes made from simple, fresh ingredients.,” it noted. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, and gorge on the classic cacio e pepe, a minimalist dish made with pecorino cheese and black pepper. Your taste buds will thank you later!
