In a recent post shared on her Instagram handle, actor Sonam Kapoor provided us a glimpse into her diet throughout the day. She was seen starting her day off at 6 am with some soaked almond and Brazil nuts, a fresh glass of lemon water, and a cup of collagen chocolate coffee, citing it as the only ‘indulgence’ she enjoys.

According to Reema Madhian, dietician and nutritionist and Dietician Reema’s Diet and Wellness clinic, “Almond nuts are best eaten before breakfast since they’re enriched with good protein, Vitamin-E and Fatty acids. Because of their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant content, they’re also paired well before and after a workout.”

Brazil nuts, on the other hand, she adds, “are highly dense with Selenium — a trace mineral that supplements bone, heart and thyroid health. A mineral which is quite rare to be located in India, Selenium reduces inflammation and is also helpful for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s.”

Drinking lime water can also encourage increased water intake, helping to keep the body hydrated and potentially reducing hunger pangs. Additionally, the citric acid in limes may aid in fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation. Sustainable weight loss requires a combination of regular exercise, a healthy diet, and lifestyle changes.

However, while lime water can be a beneficial addition, it should be seen as a complementary component rather than a primary method for losing weight.” says Dr Vinoda Kumari, deputy chief medical officer at Jindal Naturecure Institute

For breakfast, she was seen relishing a classic plate of eggs with toast, as she sat for a meeting for her latest acting venture.

What’s for lunch?

Seated at a restaurant, she enjoyed a fresh-off-the pot, steamed plate of Arrabiatta pasta stirred in a classic red sauce and some salad. Around 4 pm, she sipped on a steamed hot beverage and dug into a ‘chicken on toast’ at 5:15 pm. Also displayed in front of her was a cup of coconut yoghurt complimented by some freshly- cut berries on the side. To finish it all off, Sonam culminated the day at 7pm with some soup in a thermos, brought to her by her chef in her car.

The actress topped it all off with a few lines as captions stating, ” Also need to have at least 3 – 4 litres of water a day! Healthy and wholesome!”
