TikTok isn’t just a treasure trove for memes and health hacks. Culinary enthusiasts often find inspiration from fellow users who take to the platform to share their take on classic recipes to make something special. A few years ago, Gigi Hadid’s rendition of the Italian cult favourite Spicy Vodka Pasta went viral on social media, with netizens loving the simplicity and burst of flavours that come with the recipe.
This year, Anna Paul’s version of a Turkish pasta has not just come close in terms of ease and taste, but is a refreshing change to our culinary palettes. Mediterranean flavours come together in this deconstructed version of the traditional Turkish dish, manti, which stands for tiny beef dumplings coated in a yoghurt sauce.

Here’s how you can make this recipe at home:
1 pound of ground beef: Choose lean ground beef for lower fat content. Or you can use ground lamb.
8 ounces of pasta: Any type will do, but whole-grain or chickpea pasta can add more fiber and nutrients.
Onion Powder and Paprika
1 cup of Greek yogurt: Plain, full-fat Greek yogurt works best for creaminess.
1 onion, diced: For added flavor and texture.
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 roma tomatoes – diced
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
4 tablespoons of butter, melted
1 teaspoon of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
