After detox and copper vessel waters, silver-infused water has grabbed the attention of social media, with some posts suggesting that drinking water infused with pure silver offers a host of health benefits. Take, for instance, Tejal Parekh, a certified fitness coach, who claimed that one should add a silver coin to a pot of water and drink it.

“I’ve been placing a silver coin in my water pot for over 10 years, and it’s been a game-changer for my family’s health, specifically my kid’s immunity! Silver has natural antimicrobial properties that keep the water fresh and free from harmful bacteria. It’s especially great for kids, boosting their immunity and ensuring they drink pure, clean water daily. It promotes gut health, fights water-borne diseases, soothes the digestive tract, is beneficial for skin, and enhances cellular health too,” Parekh stated on Instagram.
