Pastels are always a favourite, be it in the summertime or during the wintry holiday season. The soft shades add a feminine vibe to your look, even if it’s in the form of a fierce pantsuit or jumpsuit – it does cut down on the sharpness. But a pastel gown all about embracing that feminity, two-folds, adding a dash of freshness to the overall look.

Recently, we spotted Aditi Rao Hydari in an absolutely gorgeous floor-length gown by Gaurav Gupta. The ivory toned dress with gold-and-bronze-beaded details is what most fashionistas would die to get into. We can’t get over the neckline and the voluminous trail at the end. Also, the gown fits her like a dream. Leading make-up and hair artiste and her best friend Elton Fernandez did a brilliant job by styling her hair on one side and giving her deep red lips and highlighted cheekbones. We think she looked like a dream.

Meanwhile, we spotted another Bollywood celeb embracing the colour in a beaded gown by Shehlaa Khan. Aastha Sharma, founder and style director at Wardrobist did a good job by picking this outfit for Prachi Desai. The Rock On 2 actress complemented the look with deep-toned burgundy lips, a pair of diamond earrings by Shaheen Abbas, rings by Anmol Jewellers and a matching box clutch. We also loved her somewhat retro-inspired hairdo. She looked good.
