It is not news that Victoria’s Secret Angels are what perfection looks like. While they slog and sweat to look flawless, there is one more thing the brand’s models do to get that ideal look – they rub pink quartz rocks on their face before strutting down the runway of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Celebrity facialist Georgia Louise, the woman behind making Victoria’s Secret models like Behati Prinsloo and Martha Hunt shine before the show, swears by this small pink crystal shaped like a butterfly, which she uses to massage the models’ faces to contour it.
Last year, Louise took to Instagram to demonstrate the pink butterfly-shaped crystal stone that she recommends for smoothing against the face once a week to contour the face and dramatically smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
On another post on Instagram, in which she is seen massaging Tanzanian model Herieth Paul’s face with the rose quartz rock, she captioned, “With the beautiful @heriethpaul & she is loving her #glotogo! We love to use my rose quartz butterfly stone for the Victoria Secret Angels! They instantly calm, cool and contour. We mixed up @drbarbarasturm #hylaronicacid drops and #antipollution drops for a nice glide. I created these stones 10 years ago to help my clients massage their skin at home!”
According to her website, the $75 patented stone “is designed to lift, drain and sculpt the face and has many healing and anti-ageing benefits. Regular massaging with this stone will help to drain puffiness and toxins, contour the face and help smooth fine lines and wrinkles.”
A-list celebrities like Miranda Kerr and Victoria Beckham and even Princess Diana’s makeup artist Laurey Simmons swear by these crystal rocks.
