There’s no denying that Radhika Apte has a great sense of style. She’s been around for a while now and we have hardly seen her committing any fashion faux pas. The actress who mostly does unglamorous roles, barring the one in Badlapur, likes to keep it glamorous in real life. Tapping her potential is leading Indian magazine Femina Wedding Times for their November 2016 issue.
The Parched actress is an enchantress in a Monisha Jaisingh bloomsbury charcoal sari from the designer’s Debutante collection. The intricate baroque work adds to the charm and pairing it with the faux fur lends a romantic appeal to the look. Leading celebrity make-up artist Elton J Fernandez works his magic by giving her a fierce winged liner and bright mauve lips. She sure does look lovely but the cover shot is not the only drool-worthy one. She looks equally stunning in the other photos as well.
In this photo, Apte poses as a modern bride in a blood-red crop-top, a floral embroidered lehenga, a beautiful choker from Razwada Jewels and cuffs from Ghanasingh Be True.
She even shared this photo on Instagram with the caption, “I never envisioned myself as a bride. I wasn’t that kind of a girl. The day I got married—or to put it more accurately, registered our marriage—we threw a party. There were about 20 people. I wore my grandmother’s plain, cotton sari in blue.”
A far cry from what she is wearing for the shoot but we think she would look good in a plain sari too.
