In India, it’s next to impossible to even think of wearing an insanely huge jacket or a seven-layered coat and taking the local transport. But there’s no harm in checking out photos of celebrities walking around in these ridiculously huge statement wear.

Right from Rihanna in a bubblegum pink quilted puffer by Ella Boucht, who looked like a walking candy floss to Kendall Jenner in a similar red one and Priyanka Chopra’s trash bag-inspired black jacket that she cleverly teamed with a belt, there’s no stopping them or in this case, the trend. While some are slipping into it’s cozy comfort, others are using style tricks to add an extra edge. Take the example of Chopra who wore the jacket with a belt to give it some shape, black trousers and bright yellow pumps. Even though we are not a big fan of her look, we need to give her credit for pulling it off like a rockstar.

Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga in their Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show had models walking down the runway wearing multiple layered coats. The outfits were reminiscent of a particular look sported by Joey Tribbiani in Friends when he wore all of Chandler’s clothes in Season 3 Episode 2. Now, who doesn’t remember that?

Would you ever try it?
