New Nakshatra bangle collection unveiled at IIJW

Mirroring the woman of today – Gitanjali Luxury presents Queenie for Giantti,Mirari and Nakshatra at IIJW

All fashion roads lead to the fashion and extravagance at the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW),2010.

The event opened to a befitting inception as Gitanjali Luxury stole the limelight with Mystique,a magnum opus exhibiting a remarkable line up of jewellery showcases,designer ensembles and new jewellery launch,interspersed with artistic performances- all strung in a single show.

The show dazzled with the spectacular showcase of three brands from Gitanjali Luxury which included the bold and beautiful “Queenie for Giantti”,the oh-so-sensuous,“Essentia by Mirari” and the very divine Nakshatra. Mystique was unmistakably dedicated to celebrating the spirit of the independent woman of today. Reiterating the mood of Mystique were the jewellery and ensemble collections.

Mehul Choksi,CMD,Gitanjali Group said,“We will be showcasing out most premium and luxury brands Queenie for Giantti and Nakshatra along with Mirari.”

The show kick started with the Queenie for Giantti collection designed by ace designer Queenie Dhody.. The glamour of the jewellery collection was enhanced by the wonderful garments designed by Wendell Rodricks. Adding to that Queenie Singh said,“My show is a story of the evolution of the woman and her relationship with the jewellery. Times have changed and so has the woman.”

The next collection to take center stage was Essentia and the Wedding Wows collection by Mirari. Designed by Mira Gulati,the collection paid tribute to the eternal emotion of love. Crafted in unique combinations of colored stones,emeralds and diamonds,Essentia incomparably captured and reflected the charm of feminine beauty. The Mirari wedding collection reflected the confluence of many ancient decorative traditions with completely modern settings – creating heirlooms for the modern era. The outfits for this collection were designed by designer duo Gauri and Nainika.
