Diwali preparation in B-town is in full swing. And celebrating the festive season with full fervour, Bollywood celebrities are embracing traditional outfits like never before. From Diwali parties to book launches and even at the red carpet, celebrities are donning bright ethnic wears giving us major #stylegoals.
When it comes to looking glamorous, beating Malaika Arora in her style game is pretty tough. From high thigh-slit gowns to short sheer skirt, this diva has been denying age time and again in western outfits. But she looks equally beautiful in a sari or lehenga. Like the one, she wore at her home on Dhanteras welcoming the goddess for Diwali.
Wearing a dark red long kurta with a lehenga, she looked elegant and quite festive. The silk brocade kurta from Raw Mango was rich and intricate, making it perfect for the occasion. Paring it with heavy gold, temple jewellery Khanna Jewellers she looked perfect. Rounding off her look with nude make-up, it was kept simple to let her dress and jewellery do all the talking.
As much as we like her simple yet elegant look perfect for a puja at home, we couldn’t miss the fact that her brocade tunic was very similar to Deepika Padukone’s latest look in a red sari, also by Raw Mango.
The Padmavati actress was seen wearing a red sari at Hema Malini’s book launch earlier this week looking dead drop gorgeous.
Both the stars kept their make up simple to balance the heavy attires they were wearing, along with heavy gold jewellery. While Padukone’s hair were styled in a soft bun, Arora kept her long tresses open.
We think both the actors carried the ethnic wears beautifully and can’t choose who looked better. But let us know who you think looked better in the Raw Mango festive ensemble.
