This year, the lavish Diwali bashes in Bollywood saw stars gracing the soirées in their ethnic best. From Kareena Kapoor Khan’s elegant sharara to Deepika Padukone’s traditional red and golden sari and Alia Bhatt’s colourful lehenga, there were enough statement-worthy moments to last us a lifetime!

Malaika Arora who is known for her excellent sartorial choices was clicked attending Arpita Khan’s Diwali lunch, looking amazing in a silver and golden sari from the house of Raw Mango. The 44-year-old actor lived up to our expectations as she teamed the sari with a round neck white blouse. Styled by celebrity stylist, Maneka Harisinghani, she looked like a South Indian beauty. The matching silver necklace and earrings set by Anmol Jewellers rounded out her look perfectly.

As far as her make-up is concerned, the kohled eyes, dark red lips, and messy hair bun was right on point. Needless to say, the diva, who is usually seen wearing western dresses as compared to ethnic outfits, totally nailed it in the sari. Take a look at the pictures:

Arora’s look reminded us of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who too wore a white and golden sari, as she stepped out for a family dinner. The former Miss World picked an Anita Dongre creation that she teamed with a golden embroidered blouse. She gave finishing touches to her look with dewy make-up and cherry red lips.
