It’s that time of the year again when drama flies high on the ramp. We are talking about the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2016, where leading designers present their creations to fashion enthusiasts. But it’s not the collections alone that gets everybody talking. Guess what we are talking about? The showstoppers, the eye-candies of the ramp. Bollywood celebs have graced the ramp for years now and this time it was Kangana Ranaut who opened Lakme Fashion Week for designer Tarun Tahiliani. But she is not alone.

Prachi Desai will turn showstopper for designer duo Sonam & Paras Modi. The 27-year-old Azhar actress, who has collaborated with the designers in the past as well, will walk for their label SVA’s new collection ‘Mon Passe’ on August 28. Inspired by Montparnasse, one of the oldest areas in Paris, the collection weaves in romance and architecture together. Art deco, metallic brocades, silks and other natural fabrics dominate the range.

Meanwhile, Saiyami Kher will walk the ramp for Payal Singhal. Titled ‘Pakizah’, the collection is an ode to Indian designs with contemporary twist. Talking about her latest collection, Payal said her collection focuses on clean and minimalistic cuts in fabrics like silk and raw silk.
