The internet sensation Kim Kardashian West has added new products to her shapewear range. The Skims collection will now have breast tapes which can replace your bra and still flaunt all kinds of plunging neckline outfits you wish to wear.

The 39-year-old entrepreneur announced the new launch on her social media platforms. The solution wear line called Styling Solutions accessories that invisibly hold, cover and lift the breasts under clothing. “Body tape has been a huge part of my life! Can’t live without it and so excited skims is launching three shades of the best boob tape! Taking the tape off has been so painful and left me with cuts and burns throughout the year; so it is important I made sure our Skims tape is gentle and less painful when removing it,” she tweeted. The tapes will be available in three colours — sandstone, tigers’ eye and smokey quartz.

People are welcoming the new addition by posting it on social media, calling it ‘revolutionary.

The 45-feet length body tape and teardrop-shaped pasties, made with stretchy, comfy cotton material, are available in three different nude colours. They claim to be waterproof, sweatproof and last for 12 hours.

In a video shared on the SKIMS Instagram on Monday, Kim unveils the SKIMS body tape and compares it to the experience of previously using gaffer’s tape.

“When I started using [boob tape] I would use gaffer’s tape, which obviously was super uncomfortable, but this material is super soft and super stretchy but not too stretchy because you want it to hold,” she says.

After facing massive backlash for what was alleged to be a cultural appropriation for naming her new inclusive shapewear collection Kimono Solutionwear, Kim Kardashian West has now decided to change the name of the line.

In a series of tweets, she said, “I am always listening, learning and growing – I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me. When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind.”
