When Bollywood celebs dress up, they can even put the stars to shame. And that is what these Bollywood beauties did when they stepped out clad in ethnic wear. With the fervour of Navratri and Durga Puja having taken over the country the past week, these fashionistas also indulged heartily in the festivities and outdid themselves (in some cases each other) with the bling and glamour of their outfits, leaving us wanting more. From lehengas, Anarkali suits, long skirts to gowns and saris, we bring you our favourite looks from the festivities that the divas slayed in.
Karisma Kapoor added a pop of colour to her quaint white and gold gown with a cheery yellow dupatta. The actor, who was draped in an Anju Modi number, rocked the classic Indian look in statement earrings. A big round of applause for stylist Tanya Ghavri, who matched the yellow with gold beautifully.
The actor wore a gorgeous purple-hued lehenga by designer Shashi Vangapalli. The intricate gold and silver work on the lehenga is stunning and goes perfectly with the light purple colour.
The actor slayed in an Abhinav Mishra ensemble and was a sight for sore eyes in this peppy and colourful lehenga choli. The silver-studded dupatta added all the bling to the actor’s look and statement jewellery rounded it out nicely.
The bubbly actor bloomed in this Anushree Reddy outfit and rocked the floral ethnic wear. We love the muted make-up she put on to let the lehenga be the highlight.
Looking absolutely divine in an Anavila creation with block floral prints on blue silk, the actor was irresistible. Her braided bun added to the overall festive glamour.
In a deep green lehenga by Sukriti and Aakriti, with a bedazzled collar the actor was breathtaking. We love how stylist Sukriti Grover complemented the attire with statement jewellery.
The doe-eyed beauty was a vision in a yellow and rose pink outfit by Rimple and Harpeet Narula. We love stylist Theia Tekchandaney’s taste as she draped the outfit with a rose pink dupatta, which added a nice contrast to her yellow ensemble.
In a powder blue number with extravagant silver work, the actor was dazzling. We give full-marks to her cat eyes and the braided bun, which were absolutely lovely.
In a traditional Durga Puja sari by Mint n’ Oranges, Mukerji looked the classical Indian beauty. The bright pink sari contrasted nicely with a muted golden border and we think the actor nailed the ethnic look.
We love Shama Sikander’s sultry and gorgeous Dandiya night attire. Bold and beautiful black met with glamorous golden and the combination could not have been more fiery.
