Gitanjali Lifestyle CIFW 2010 set for July 7-11

Now in its second year,this premier fashion event,renamed as The Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week 2010,will be held at Chennai from July 7 to 11,2010. Among the designers whose collections will be showcased during the five days are Rahul & Gunjan,Neeta Lulla,Krishna Mehta,Archana Kocchhar,Rehana,Shahid Amir,Niksha Lulla,Masaba Gupta and others were also present at the ocassion.

The new collection from Rahul & Gunjan – “The Nava Rasa” encompasses the true essence of opulence with rich and luxurious lehengas,elegant saris and tunics for cocktails in exquisite natural fabrics. The colours are herbal greens,mud browns,sea and ink blues,finishing into burnt tones of red,fuchsia and grays with the use of unconventional repeats of embroidery and sudden contrasting colour burst reflecting the spontaneity of the human mind.
