Fest to showcase North-East Indian textiles in Delhi

The two-day event will take place at DLF Place in Saket, Delhi, starting December 4.

‘Celebrating North East – The Mega Fest’ is set to present northeast India’s textiles in the Capital in December.

Presented by the North East Institute of Fashion Technology, the two-day event will take place at DLF Place in Saket, south Delhi, starting December 4, read a statement.

The third edition of the festival will comprise fashion shows, cultural programmes, musical shows and exhibitions of handloom, jute and more.

Both days will feature fashion shows highlighting handloom, silk, khadi and jute ensembles from the eight states – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim.
