We can always bank on Bollywood to give us lessons in fashion and style and what could be a better time than Diwali to take inspiration from B-Town, when celebrities are seen putting their best fashion foot forward.

While celebrities dazzled in their ethnic best this year, a few of our favourites showed us how to drape yellow and carry it off with elan. Here is a roundup of celebrities who chose yellow for the occasion.

This year, Priyanka Chopra, who flew back to Mumbai for Diwali after her stunning bachelorette party, was seen in a lovely yellow embellished Anarkali from Anita Dongre’s collection. The Quantico star kept her ethnic look simple and added a shiny bindi and TBZ earrings, to complement her outfit.

At Karan Johar’s morning puja, Alia Bhatt stepped out in an embellished lime yellow-green patiala kurta. Keeping her look minimal and fuss free, we think she looked rather elegant.

For two different occasions, Sonakshi Sinha was seen wearing a yellow outfit and we think she looked lovely in both the attires. For her first look, styled by Mohit Rai, she wore a yellow and gold embellished palazzo kurta and dupatta. For the other occasion, she went for a more festive look and picked up a beautiful lime yellow and white heavily embellished lehenga choli.

Malaika Arora was at her ethnic best as she stepped out in a yellow sari from Raw Mango that she paired with a striped golden blouse and kundan jewellery. Casually tousled hair and smokey eye makeup made her festive ready.
