Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their first wedding anniversary by visiting the two holy shrines — the Golden Temple and the Tirupati Balaji with their family members. For her Amritsar visit, she wore a deep brick red-hued ankle-length kurta with dhoti pants which she teamed with a sheer tissue dupatta with golden scattered embroidery all over it, by her favourite designer Sabyasachi. She went full ethnic with a jadau choker set, light smokey eyes, a muted lip shade and sindoor. Though the kurta was ill-fitted, she managed to pull off the look for the special eve.

After digging deep into the pictures, we noticed that the Om Shanti Om actor had worn the exact similar outfit for one of her wedding rituals last year. A photo from Ranveer and Deepika’s chooda ceremony was also shared by designer Sabyasachi on Instagram.
In the photo, Ranveer and Deepika were all smiles as they posed with the wedding guests. “Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Sabyasachi for their Chooda ceremony,” read the caption.
It’s delightful to see celebrities repeat some amazing pieces from their wardrobe. Such practices encourage sustainable living and bring out the optimum use of these designer outfits.
Previously, they were spotted with their families, offering prayers at Tirupati Balaji. Padukone and Singh looked every bit regal as they offered prayer at the temple. The Piku actor wore a heavy red Banarasi sari with intricate zardozi work on the border by ace designer Sabyasachi.
