Aditi Rao Hydari has finally arrived in Cannes. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a story in which she could be seen recreating her famous Gaja Gamini walk inspired by her character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, looking resplendent in a flowy creation by designer duo, Gauri and Nainika Karan.
The ruffled outfit from the designers’ Fall Winter collection in 2024, featured floral prints and a high-low hem, along with a semi-long train. We loved how she teamed the outfit with a pair of chunky sneakers.
Keeping it simple, the Heeramandi actor — styled by Sanam Ratansi — tied her hair in a bun, and opted for minimal makeup, along with a hint of colour on her lips. Her well-defined brows shined, as always.
Adding a touch of bling to her otherwise plain look were a pair of statement earrings.
We cannot wait to see what magic Aditi creates on the red carpet.
On Tuesday evening, the actor marked her presence at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, specifically at the Bharat Pavilion. This marked her second consecutive year attending the festival.
Dressed in a stunning golden anarkali suit with a gajra-adorned bun and matching jhumkas, Aditi exuded elegance. She was present to celebrate the momentous achievement of renowned Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who became the first Asian recipient of the Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography Award. PIB Meghalaya shared photos of the event on Twitter, featuring Aditi alongside Sivan.
This Cannes appearance came shortly after Aditi’s social media send-off on May 21st, where she shared pictures with her team en route to France. Following Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditi represents India as a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris at this year’s festival.
The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival runs from May 14th to May 25th, and movie enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await the red carpet appearances and cinematic gems to be unveiled.
