From glittering catsuits to metallic corsets, Beyoncé kicks off Renaissance tour in style

The Grammy award-winning musician kicked off the first night of her tour in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10. The first stop of the 57-show tour featured the singer performing in high-octane, custom-made looks.

The much-awaited Renaissance World Tour by Beyoncé is here! The Grammy award-winning musician kicked off the first night of her tour in Stockholm, Sweden recently. The first stop of the 57-show tour featured the singer performing in high-octane, custom-made looks. The impressive disco-themed show featured Beyonce in a series of glittering catsuits and striking metallic corsets.

Here are some of her best looks from the show:

The singer looked stunning as ever in a shimmering custom bodysuit by Alexander McQueen featuring bugle beads and crystal embroidery on a black mesh base. She teamed the look with matching ankle boots.

The singer began her concert singing “Dangerously in Love 2”, wearing a reflective, metallic design by David Koma with an asymmetrical skirt and futuristic boots. She paired the look with statement earrings, which added to the glam quotient. As for makeup, she opted for a nude look and styled her hair in a voluminous updo.

One of the most iconic looks from the opening night was a custom-made catsuit from Loewe, adorned with the brand’s signature trompe l’oeil hands motif and matching rubber opera gloves. She finished the look with sparkling Tiffany & Co jewellery.

Later in the show, Beyoncé looked gorgeous in a custom Balmain leotard, featuring intricate pearl beading shaped as a bra, teamed with an embellished hat and leather boots by Stuart Weitzman.

The singer even transformed into an actual bee at one point, donning a yellow and black striped Mugler look with a metal antenna to sing “America Has a Problem.”

For the show’s finale, the star donned a custom Coperni as she flew around on a sequinned horse–similar to the one featured on the Renaissance album cover– and floated down to the stage. Her look included a high-shine silver cape and matching gloves, truly embodying the club-couture aesthetic.
