Next up we had the ever-elegant Rekha in a vermilion-hued and gold Kanjeevaram sari for the Dior show in Mumbai. Teamed with a potli bag, gold jewellery, her signature red lip, sindoor and gajra, the veteran actor radiated ethnic glam vibes.

When it comes to fashion, we can’t miss out on Sonam Kapoor whose all-pink Dior ensemble for their show in Mumbai reignited our love for her sartorial prowess. Her skirt, shirt and coat combo, complemented with traditional Indian jewellery added to the charm.

Equally mesmerised were we by Alia Bhatt’s debut at the Met Gala. Her billowing white gown, swathed with pearls was the theme-appropriate for this year’s event celebrating the life of designer Karl Lagerfeld. Inspired by the Chanel bride, Bhatt’s look was designed by Nepalese-American designer Prabal Gurung.

The NMACC launch night also saw a slew of celebrities dressed in their best. For instance, Deepika Padukone’s Anamika Khanna jumpsuit and cape stood out on the carpet, while Zendaya in a Rahul Mishra sari proved to us her fashion icon status. Gigi Hadid, on the other hand, looked radiant in a gold embellished Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari.

Among the rising stars, Khushi Kapoor made a strong fashion statement at the premiere of her debut film ‘The Archies.’ Rewearing her late mother Sridevi’s gown, the strapless sequinned masterpiece paired with a diamond necklace became an instant favourite. In Khushi’s words, “I wanted her to be there with me in some way. So, I went through some of the old clothes we have here and picked it out.”
