Aishwarya Rai Bachchan paints the runway red at Paris Fashion Week 2024; greets audience with ‘namaste’

Just when you thought the drama was over, Aishwarya casually reattached the veil on her way back, as if she does this every morning while grabbing her coffee—no big deal!

Her entire look screamed classic Aishwarya — confident, elegant, and bold. Oh, and did we talk about her ‘‘namaste’ on the runway? A cherry on the (red) cake!

But, social media had mixed feelings about her walk. Many praised her stage presence, while others felt something was off with her overall look.

“Yes her stylist is horrible, but my god that face card does not decline, and her Queen energy!” commented one Instagram user. Another added, “But look at her beautiful face and confidence… even though her hair looks like it’s not been done, that hem doesn’t allow her to walk properly, yet she owned the stage and looked like it was all completely normal.”

Perhaps the highest compliment came from someone who said, “Put her in a sack, and she’ll still steal the show!”

While some critiqued her walk as uncomfortable, it was clear that Aishwarya’s face and undeniable presence carried the entire performance. Her makeup comprised fierce winged eyeliner and her signature red lips, while her hair flowed in soft waves in a middle parting.

As she exited, leaving the stage ready for the next act, she proved that trendsetters may come and go, but true icons never go out of style.
