Alia Bhatt, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday with family in London, shared a video on her YouTube channel in which she listed 30 things not many people know about the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor. “30 facts as I turn 30,” read the video’s title with the caption promising to take her fans through “30 things” to know her “really well”. So, without any delay, we dived right in. Care to join us on this interesting ride?
The one thing Alia can have every single day is “poha and chaas. I love it”, with makhanas being her all-time favourite snack.
The actor, who is a self-confessed “morning person” and is often spotted working out in the early hours, shared that while she likes “pull overs”, she hates burpees.
She also revealed that she loves water, and has a soft spot for numbers 1, 6, 9, and “of course 8”. Talking about her pet peeve and fears, the actor said, “I don’t like people tapping on my shoulder”, as she shared that she is “scared of dark rooms”.
And can you guess how she applies her lipstick, something she ends up “eating”? “I have a weird way of applying lipstick. Most people put lipstick on their mouths. I put my mouth to my lipstick. And then I rub it off,” she said.
Calling herself a “messy person“, she said, “I’m rarely in the moment. I’m always in my head.” Further, Alia revealed that while she is obsessed with the fragrance of mehendi, but at her wedding, she was “bored”. “But I managed to put,” she added.

The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor added that she developed a “sun spot” in the middle of her lower lip when at home during the lockdown.
While reading puts her to sleep now, Alia confessed that she was fond of journaling as a teenager. “I like journals and books. I like writing in them. I have this book called the memory book which I started filling in the sixth grade, when I was 12 years old. It is full of cards, letters, and sketches, and random drawings and memories. Very cringy, but I still have that book,” she shared.

*I am terrible with shopping. I have no patience, especially physical shopping. I am great with online shopping. Physically, I will pick something up, walk a bit more and then put it back and I’ll walk off. I just can’t do it.
*I have a tendency to ask a lot of strange questions to my sister Shaheen and expect her to have all the answers. It really irritates her.
*I can’t wink.
*I am a morning person.
*When I am upset or irritated or angry, I watch an episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S and I’m fine.
