UPSC CAPF 2017 results: The exam was held by UPSC on July 23, 2017 to recruit a total of 179 posts in the forces comprising of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

UPSC CAPF 2017: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the results of the CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) Assistant Commandants recruitment examination at upsc.gov.in. The exam was held by UPSC on July 23, 2017 to recruit a total of 179 posts in the forces comprising of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The successful candidates have to get themselves registered on the relevant page of the website before filling up the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online. They have to also upload the scanned copies of relevant certificates/documents in support of their eligibility, claim of reservation etc through the Commission’s website.

In case, any candidate does not receive the call letter for Physical Standards Test/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test (MST) by November 21, 2017.

Last year, UPSC conducted the exam for a total of 270 posts, however this year the number of vacancies have gone down.

Selection process: The candidates would be selected on the basis of a written examination, physical and medical standards tests, physical efficiency test (PET) and interview/ personality test.
