IBPS SO exam 2017: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has invited online applications for the post of SO (Specialist Officer) recruitment examination 2017 (CRP SPL-VI). The eligible candidates can log in to the official website from today to apply for the exam which is scheduled to be held tentatively on January 28 and 29, 2017.
The Institute will conduct the exam to fill over 4,000 posts in the cadre. As many as 20 banks are participating in the common recruitment process undertaken by the IBPS.
Important dates
Online registration and payment starts: November 16 to December 2
Download of call letter for examination: Post January 16, 2017
Online Examination (tentative dates): January 28 and 29, 2017
Declaration of result status of examination (CWE): February 16, 2017
Download of call letters for interview: February 24, 2017
Interview round: March
Provisional Allotment: On or after April 1, 2017
The interviews will be conducted by the participating organisations and coordinated by the nodal bank in each state/ UT.

Steps to apply for the IBPS SO VI post:
Log on to the official website of the IBPS, ibps.in
Go to the “Click here to apply online for CWE SPL – VI” notification on the main page. Login by entering your ID and password on the right hand side of the page.
If you have not registered already, do so. You need to have a valid ID and mobile phone number for the same.
Fill the form, pay the fee and print the receipt. Keep the slip safe for future use.
