IBPS PO 2017 results: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has on November 1 announced the results for the Probationary Officers (PO) 2017 recruitment examination. Candidates who wish to check their result can do so from the official website of the IBPS (ibps.in). The IBPS PO 2017 prelims results are available until November 7.
Successful candidates will now have to appear for the main exam scheduled to be held this month. IBPS is expected to release the call letter by next week.
IBPS PO 2017 exam pattern: There will be a three-hour long exam where 155 questions will be asked.
1) Reasoning and Computer Aptitude will be of 60 marks and 45 questions will be asked.
2) English Language: 35 questions of 40 marks
3) Data Analysis & Interpretation: A candidate can score maximum 60 marks in this section where 35 questions will be asked
4) General Economy & Banking Awareness: In this section, 40 questions will be asked of 40 marks each
This year’s participating organisations fare Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.
Maximum posts are offered by the Canara Bank with 1350 vacancies, Andhra Bank has 625 vacancies and UCO Bank is to recruit 500 plus candidates this year.
