Assam APSC AE, JE recruitment 2019: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications for the post of assistant engineer (civil) and junior engineer (civil) under Public Works Roads Departments. A total of 463 posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply at apsc.nic.in. The last date to apply is December 21.

To get the job, candidates will have to pass a written test followed by an interview. The detailed selection process and exam syllabus along with dates will be notified later, as per the official notice.

Assam APSC AE, JE recruitment 2019: Eligibility

Education: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering through regular mode or passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) for the post of AE. For recruitment at the JE level, candidates who have passed a three-year diploma course in civil engineering can also apply.

Age: Applicant should be at least 21 years old. The upper age limit is capped at 38 years. For SC/ST candidates the upper gae limited is relaxed up to 5 years and for OBC and PwD candidates the relaxed up to three and 10 years, respectively.

Step 1: Visit the official website, apsc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘direct recruitment (new form), under ‘latest recruitment advertisement’
Step 3: Fill the form and send it to the official address along with documents

Candidates will also have to send their duly filled and signed applications along with supporting documents addressed to the ‘Deputy Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022’. The name of the post applied for should be written in ‘bold letters’ on the envelope containing the application form.

— Original treasury Challan
— Age proof
— Education certificates and marks sheets from HSLC onwards
— Caste certificate
— Two copies of recent passport-sized pictures in white background
— Experience certificate
— PWD, BPL or any other certificate, if applicable.

Assam APSC AE, JE recruitment 2019: Application fee

The candidate will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. For reserved category candidates, it is Rs 150. Fees should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account ‘Non-Tax Revenue, Other Non-Tax Revenue 0051 PSC, 105 State PSC application Fee Receipt of APSC’ showing the name of post and department. Original copy of the treasury challan should be submitted along with the application form, as per the official notification.

Assam APSC AE, JE recruitment 2019: Salary

Finally selected candidates will be hired in the pay scale of Rs 30,000- Rs 1,10,000 with grade pay of Rs 12,700 and other -plus other
allowances at the post of AE. For the post of JE, candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs 14,000- Rs 49,000 with grade Pay of Rs 8,700, plus other allowances.
