Whenever BJP, Congress want, they disrupt House, says Kalyan Banerjee

Amid disruptions and repeated adjournments in both Houses of Parliament, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee Wednesday blamed both BJP and Congress for disrupting the proceedings.

Speaking to The Indian Express, TMC’s Serampore MP said, “Whenever the BJP wants to disrupt the House it does so, whenever Congress wants to disrupt the House it does so. Everyday this is happening. BJP MPs such as Nishikant Dubey and others start shouting and the House is adjourned. Then, Congress MPs ask one or two questions and then start shouting and the House is adjourned. But there are so many political parties in Parliament.”

With the Congress raising the bribery allegations against industrialist Gautam Adani inside and outside Parliament, Banerjee said, “We have come here to do some business. The Adani issue is not the only issue… there are so many issues. Congress is stuck with Adani and BJP is stuck with George Soros. Does it mean that all other issues will go away?”
