Class 10 exams begin in Tripura with English paper, CM Saha extends wishes to students

According to the Tripura Board of Secondary Education, 30,126 candidates are registered for the Class 10 board examinations.

The Class 10 Madhyamik exams conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) began Tuesday under tight security measures. The matriculation level board examinations commenced with the English paper at 12 pm, held across 145 venues within 68 centres in the state. According to the TBSE, 30,126 candidates are registered for the board examinations.

There have been no reports of any incidents during the examinations thus far. Meanwhile, students leaving the examination halls at various centres said the question paper met their expectations and claimed that their exams went quite well.

After emerging from the examination hall this afternoon, Arpita Paul, a student at Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan, told reporters that she found the questions to be “common” based on her preparation and felt that her exam went very well.
