Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Taliban minister discuss agricultural ties

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday held a bilateral meeting with visiting Taliban-led Afghanistan government’s agriculture minister Mawlawi Ataullah Omari to review the agricultural partnership between the two nations.

The meeting, held at the Pusa Campus here, saw discussions regarding extending the existing MoU between the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Afghan National Agricultural Science and Technology University beyond 2026, it is learnt.
