In a good news for buyers and land owning realtors in Noida Extension, the Supreme Court on Thursday refused to interfere with the land acquisition proceedings upheld by the Allahabad High Court in 2010.

A bench led by Chief Justice H L Dattu turned down a batch of appeals filed by farmers of various villages as they challenged the acquisition of their land.
