A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable was injured in an accidental fire at the Kathua railway station in Jammu and Kashmir late Saturday, causing panic in the area.
Officials identified the injured as constable Dinesh Kumar, who was on duty when his service rifle went off accidentally. He sustained a bullet shot on his shoulder, the officials said.
The constable was immediately rushed to the hospital by the RPF team.
