Renewal pending: Govt extends FCRA validity of NGOs for 3 months

FCRA Director Jeetendar Chadha said, “The validity of registration certificates of such entities whose validity was extended till December 31, in terms of the Public Notice dated September 28, and whose renewal application is pending, will stand extended till March 31, 2025."

The Home Ministry on Friday extended the validity of FCRA registration certificates, up to three months of NGO whose renewal applications are pending till March 31, 2025.

FCRA Director Jeetendar Chadha said, “The validity of registration certificates of such entities whose validity was extended till December 31, in terms of the Public Notice dated September 28, and whose renewal application is pending, will stand extended till March 31, 2025 or till the date of disposal of renewal application — whichever is earlier.”
