Woman injured in an attack by bear

A woman was attacked and injured by a bear in Anantnag district on Wednesday.

A women was attacked A 40-year-old woman was critically injured in an attack by a wild bear in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Wednesday.,police said.

Sharifa Begum was attacked by the bear in the forest area of Gurd-Draman,90 kms from Srinagar,where she had gone to collect fire wood,a police spokesperson said.

He added that the woman was rescued by some villagers and was admitted to a nearby hospital.
