Rashid had on May 31 sought permission to hold “peaceful” protest demonstration at Lal Chowk or near Raj Bhawan against the killing of three youths of Nadhil and alleged unabated human rights violations.

Rashid condemned the turning down of his plea.

“I wanted to draw attention of the PM towards the killing of three innocent youths of Nadihal, the continuing human rights violation by forces and forced labour which people of my constituency suffered at the hands of army for 13 long years. We strongly condemn the turning down of the permission by the DM”,he told reporters here.
