Keralite security personnel dies in Bahrain fire:Family

The news came as a big shock to the family including his wife and children.

A Keralite who was working as a private security officer in Bahrain capital Manama was killed by gun shots fired by military personnel engaged in tackling protesters in the Gulf state,he family deceased in Kerala claimed.

Stephen Abraham (40),an ex-service man,was standing on the terrace of a building in Manama when Bahraini security personnel fired at him during an air surveillance of pro-reform protesters who gathered on the streets on Wednesday evening,his brother Shaju Abraham said from his home at Pathanamthitta.

Shaju said this information was passed on to the family by the security agency which employed his brother.

Stephen had been working in Bahrain after retirement from Indian army an year back.

The news came as a big shock to the family including his wife and children,who are living at their home at Pramadam near Pathanamthitta town.
