A youth,detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged at the Kupwara district jail in Kashmir,died this morning,official sources said.
Sajad Ahmad,in his mid-20s,died at SKIMS hospital Soura after he complained of headache over the past two days,the sources said.
The youth was initially treated at district hospital Kupwara yesterday but was shifted here as he continued to complain of the pain in his head. The exact cause of death will be known only after a postmortem is conducted,the sources said.
They said Ahmad,a resident of Sopore town in Baramulla district,was booked under PSA in January this year and lodged at Kupwara jail.
