Girl,woman allegedly gangraped in Rajasthan

A girl and a married woman were allegedly gangraped in two district of Rajasthan,police said.

A girl and a married woman were allegedly gangraped in two district of Rajasthan,police said.

An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by five youngsters in Udaipurwati town of Jhunjhunu district,police said adding,”The incidents happened in February and August this year in the town,but FIR was lodged yesterday.”

According to the girl,the accused forcibly took her to isolated places near the town,while she was returning from her college,they said.

A case has been registered with Udaipurwati police station against five persons,but no arrest has been made so far in this connection,the police said.

In another incident,which took place yesterday in Ratangarh town in Churu district,a 22-year-old married woman was gangraped by two persons.

“Three persons kidnapped her while she was returning home from market,and took her to an isolated place where two of them allegedly raped her,” CO Ratangarh Jagdish said.

“The woman started crying for help. On this,locals gathered and caught the accused,” the CO said adding,”Three persons have been arrested in this connection and investigation into the matter is on.”
