Ram Mandir restored self-respect of Indians worldwide: V-P Radhakrishnan

Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan on Tuesday said the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya restored the self-respect of Indians worldwide. He was speaking at the launch of a book on the Ram Janmabhoomi movement written by retired bureaucrat Surendra Kumar Pachauri.

Speaking at the event at the Vice-President’s Enclave, Radhakrishnan said the construction of the temple represented a defining moment in India’s civilisational journey, a statement from the V-P’s office said.He said even if a thousand temples were built elsewhere, none of them could equal the one at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
