Ramdev had earlier met BJP chief Nitin Gadkari and NCP leader Sharad Pawar, who also promised their support for his movement against blackmoney and corruption.

“In the coming days we will meet more parties, whether it is the Left Parties or the NDA members. We are meeting top leaders of all political parties,” he said.

Ramdev, who met Rashtriya Lok Dal chief and Civil Aviation Minister at his residence, said he was trying to build consensus among political parties to jointly tackle the issue of corruption and blackmoney.

Assuring Ramdev of his party’s support on the issue,Singh said the use of blackmoney in electoral process is a bigger issue and a threat to the democratic set up of the nation.

“I think the bigger problem is use of blackmoney in election process which is a threat to the democratic set up of the nation,” he said.

JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav after meeting Ramdev said,”Blackmoney is a big issue concerning the nation and this disease is so deep rooted that major societal change would be needed to address it.”

Lashing out at the UPA government for its attitude to deal with corruption,Yadav said,”Government has brought out a white paper on blackmoney but it’s totally white. Government should honestly put all problems in front of the nation.”

Principally agreeing to support Ramdev’s movement,Yadav said that his party will ensure a fight against this menace.

When asked whom he will favour if he has to chose between Ramdev and civil rights activist Anna Hazare,Yadav said,”We have no right over whom he (Ramdev) is talking with to take forward his movement.”

On his part,Ramdev said,”If government has political will and honesty it can happen in a day.”

When pressed further as both Anna and Ramdev had targeted Parliamentarians alleging them of corruption,Yadav said,”This issue is not relevant here. We will talk about it when it is raised in Parliament. We are in support of the movement,(but) we have no control or say over them.”

After meeting Yadav,Ramdev also targeted the UPA government and said that it can bring suitable legal reforms to address the issue.

Ramdev also said that during his meeting with Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi he will raise the issue of all forms of blackmoney.

“Whether it is the blackmoney from the Bofors, coffin scam or the coal allocation scam,we will raise all the issues with them,” he said.

When asked if he is planning to take up the issue of blackmoney with Swiss Bank also,Ramdev said,”Nothing will happen with my going to the Swiss bank. Government is entitled to take action against blackmoney.”

On whether he is giving clean chits to political leaders by seeking their support,he said,”I am no authority to pronounce any one clean. I am meeting them because they lead their parties.”

“Our nation is going through a political crisis and if we manage to bring back the blackmoney it will help us address the issues of unemployment and price rise,” Ramdev said.

About comments made by Team Anna on politicians,Yadav said,”Just like every other place, even Parliament does not have every right person. Corruption is every where and our fight is against that only.”

Alleging that presently government is not making any serious effort to deal with corruption,Ramdev said,”In Parliamentary process it is important to put pressure on government by all the political parties to ensure that result oriented work is done.”
